In the serene silence of the meditation site, practitioners immerse themselves in the present moment, enabling them to tune into the subtle energy and expansiveness of the space as they engage in the profound art of Zen meditation. One breath connecting inner and outer. The practice will take place in James Turrell’s Avaar, an immersive, room-sized installation that explores the artist’s ideas about light, the act of perception, and the physical awareness of both space and place. The group will gather in the ground floor galleries between 5:30 - 5:45 pm, the meditation will begin promptly at 5:45 pm, your punctuality is appreciated. Donations are welcome.
